
Metro International was originally formed to assist entrepreneurs seeking to enter the car wash business but lacking industry knowledge. The principals are current and past car wash operators and other industry veterans who have worked together in the past and had continued to consult one another on various projects. [read principals' bio's here.] Over the course of the past several years, the company's principals have been approached on multiple occasions to provide expertise in site selection, layout, design, construction, operation and marketing of high volume car washes.

In the fall of 2005, the group decided to create a separate company that could service and support these consulting clients while minimizing distractions to their current operations. The following Spring, the company teamed up with Sonny's Direct to sell and support Sonny's car wash equipment to their consulting Clients. In the summer of 2006, Metro International was named the exclusive Select Service Organization (SSO) for Sonny's Car Wash Equipment in Southern California. Metro now has offices in San Diego and Orange County providing sales, service and support throughout Los Angeles and Southern California, including Orange County, the Inland Empire and the High Desert.

The principals are happy to use their existing locations in Arizona and Idaho to demonstrate their "product" - (extremely high volume, highly automated and highly profitable car washes) to potential clients. These locations are also available to provide hands-on training for their clients. Metro feels strongly that the quality of the equipment is critical to a successful, high volume operation. Metro International's premise for success (after location, location, location) is that speed, quality, value and customer service are the basis for building volume.
